Subject lines
Nothing sent yet, so no subject line has data. Each lead is assigned one variant deterministically (same person always sees the same line), and the winner is judged on clicks and replies — not opens. Open rate is close to meaningless now: Apple Mail Privacy Protection pre-fetches images and reports opens that never happened, and a tracking pixel is itself a spam signal. Clicks and replies are actions a real person took.
The bank being tested
40 lines across 12 templates. Written short (under ~50 characters so phones don't truncate them), question-led where there's a real pain to name, and plain enough to read like mail from a person rather than a campaign.

A “predicted: speculative” niche that books is worth more than a “strong” one that doesn't — the point is to find out cheaply, so send a small batch into several before committing volume to any.
